Dr. Wayne Cordeiro is Senior Pastor of New Hope Christian Fellowship O'ahu, a Foursquare church in Honolulu, Hawaii. New Hope began on September 10, 1995. More than 7,800 people received Christ for the first time during the church's first six years. The church has grown to over 11,000 weekend attendees. Through their video venues in six different locations, New Hope holds 21 weekend services.

Wayne was raised in Palolo valley on O'ahu and lived in Japan for three years. He returned to Oregon where he graduated from Eugene Bible College. He served with Youth For Christ and as a staff pastor at Faith Center Foursquare Church, before returning to Hawaii.

In 1998, he founded Pacific Rim Bible College that trains, develops and supports emerging leaders who will plant twenty-first-century churches throughout the world.

Through New Hope International (NHI) Ministries, he shares his vision and life lessons with pastors from around the globe at the quarterly Leadership Practicum. NHI's sole purpose is to be a resource to existing ministries and to plant future churches. Eighty-two churches have been pioneered under New Hope's church-planting ministry outreach called New Hope International with churches in the Mainland United States, Hawaii, Philippines, Myanmar, Finland, Japan, Nepal, Australia and Kenya. They also travel annually to train leaders in China.

Wayne enjoys relaxing rides on his Harley-Davidson and writing music. He has released six albums to date and has authored eight books - Doing Church As A Team, Gems Along The Way, Attitudes that Attract Success, Culture Shift, Indispensable Life Lessons, Dream Releasers, Rising Above, and Culture Shift. He is contributing author for church leadership books and has written articles for various magazines such as Leadership Journal. Pastor Wayne and his wife, Anna, have three children, Amy, Aaron, and Abigail.
